Greetings from the Reunion Committee.
All of the preparations for getting underway have been completed. Reunion Agenda and Registration forms can be found here under the reunion tabs.
On a personal note, we are encouraging all of our shipmates to strongly consider coming to this year’s reunion in San Antonio as this is the 50th anniversary of the commissioning of our beloved ship. Although she is not with us anymore she will always be with us in spirit.
We were all so young when we signed aboard ALBERT DAVID, when we learned how to be men and now, with our advancing age, we believe it is important to be with the people that meant so much to us in our youth. As we all know we have lost a number of our shipmates and we believe we should make an effort to see each other while we can instead of regretting later that we didn't.
One last note, if you are planning to go or just thinking about it, please make your Historic Menger Hotel reservation. There is a link here on our web page. You can always cancel 72 hours in advance.
We thank you each and every one for your service and we believe with your attendance it will make for a wonderful reunion.

I wish to have no connection with any ship that does not sail fast; for I intend to go in harm's way.
